Jamie O’Hara has said Tottenham will defeat the gunners when they meet.

Former Tottenham midfielder, Jamie O’Hara, has claimed that Antonio Conte’s side will have enough to beat Arsenal in a few weeks’ time.

The two north London rivals are neck and neck in the race for the top four but face off with each other on the 12th of May in what could be a deciding fixture in the calendar. Before that, Tottenham take on Liverpool, while Arsenal have an easier game – on paper anyway – at home to Leeds.

However, O’Hara believes that both teams will slip up at some point anyway and that when it comes to the NLD in 10 days, it will be Tottenham who come out on top.

“It’s the biggest north London derby in recent times. I just fancy us under the lights, with the front three that we’ve got, if we step up, I think we’ll turn them over. This is a young Arsenal side, and credit to them, nobody expected them to be where they are and they’ve done really well. They’re a good young team. But I just think we’ve got a bit more experience and when the pressure’s on, we’ll find a way to get it done,” O’Hara told Talksport this morning.

The Best XI Already NOT Going To The 2022 World Cup

Just a two points separates the two sides at the moment, while Arsenal are only three off of Chelsea in third.

O’Hara has a point here in that in Kane and Son, Spurs do have two at the top of the pitch with the quality and experience to win this game. Those two could win the game on their own, and they have done on more than one occasion this season.

null

But as we know in football, it’s never straight forward. Arsenal might well fancy their chances, especially with this young and vibrant squad in such fine form.

A win over your biggest rivals to essentially seal the top four would be massive. Indeed, it’s a huge incentive for the Gunners players.
